How Much Product Should I Use?

Updated: Apr 29, 2020

The last thing you want to do is spend your hard-earned money on quality products and then overuse them. Overusing products can potentially cause irritation, redness, or oiliness, but typically it’s just a complete waste of product. What doesn’t touch the face doesn’t work!

Reference this diagram to make sure you’re using the proper amount of product. To make a product go further, get your hand wet with water or a hydrating mist before applying. Water acts as a delivery system and allows the product to work far more effectively.

  • CLEANSER: Nickel-sized amount

  • SERUM: Pea-sized amount

  • MOISTURIZER: Nickel-sized amount for only your face, quarter-size for neck and face (recommended)

  • MASQUE: Depending on the type of mask, use anywhere from a dime-sized to quarter-sized amount. You just need to barely cover your face and neck

  • EXFOLIANT: Dime or nickel-sized amount

  • EYE CREAM: Pea-sized amount (share between both eyes)
